My baby is 2 months old and is given formula milk in addition to breast milk. But I need to delay my periods as I had my periods in the 8th week after delivery. When can I start breast feeding my child

Best option is to take injectable contraception. Do not hold breastfeeding. And stop formula feeds, breastfeeding is best for your baby. It will also give protection from periods.

It is not recommended to take hormonal pills while breastfeeding.
If you have to kindly do so after consulting with your gynaecologist
