Why do babies have developmental delays or autism ? Who is at risk ? Is it common even if your immediate family doesn't have it ?

My daughter is 16 months old. She is not able to stand independently. She can stand and walk by holding something(furniture,fingers) and also climbing by her own on steps. Is it a matter on concern and need to consult doctor.

My 3 month old baby is formula fed and weighs 5.95 kg. How much milk should he eat in a day/24 hours?

My baby age is 5 month old and she is o formula feed as mother milk supply is stopped. But from some time my baby crying alot before going to sleep so i give soother first time at the age of 5 month only for 5 to 10 minutes. When they go in deep sleep we take out the soother from mouth. Mainly we use soother for 5 to 10 minutes for around 5-6 time in a day. My question is that can this soother effect my baby mouth and teeth if we use some limited time

Hi, My son is 5weeks old. I noticed that cartilage og one ear is softer than the other and the size of softer ear is slightly larger than the other. Will this difference be noticeable when he grows?? Please suggest what to do. Thanks

Hi my son is 2 year old, wt. 10 kg's ht. 2'2". Birth wt 3 kg. He is under wt and under ht. Not eating anything, he just eat 2 or 3 spoon of anything I give. I tried every possible way, like I tried to feed him while playing. But i failed than I tried with books and pen.. His favourite toys.. at last I tried with TV but that is also not working. 200 to 250 ml milk in a day. Fruits veggies roti paratha halwa chocolates Pizza burger. He is not interested in food at all. It was ok till now. As I am a working mom and I have no one in family. My husband is also working. So we are sending him to playgroup. He is not drinking water or any liquid because of that he is not peeing properly He pee is very smelly. His diaper is alwys dry. Please suggest me some thing.

My daughter is going blank for 5-10 seconds and then comes back normally. The symptoms are matching with absence seizures. Will it go away with age or its permanent...I am very worried.

I missed 6 weeks (OPV, PENTAVAC, ROTAVIRUS) vaccines for my newly born kid.. am worried now.. can I get these vaccines done now.. the baby is 04 months old now... also the later scheduled vaccines I.e (@10 weeks & 14 weeks) are also got missed... Help me plzz

Hello Dr, my 6 month old son is not eating at all. We had started weaning since 3rd february. He has been on exclusive breast feeding till then. The food was not so pleasing for him but he rejected food for past 3 days. As breast milk supply is phenomenally going down and he doesn't like to take formula, his urination has reduced. We are planning to visit pediatrician tomorrow. But before that anything can we do for today? Thank you
