My son is 5 years old.since one week he has been suffering from cold. From yesterday his eyes are having white discharge and eye lids are sticky when woke up. Is this curable by itself or need medication?

Hi doctors, My one year old daughter has a mild fever and cold cough, she is not eating anything (eaten 3 dates 2 pieces of orange in the last 3 days) at all from the last 3 days and not accepting milk also.
