Child Health Issues

Almost 6 year old kid, he is very active and no issues in studying, playing and other activities. However he has eaten only curd rice till now and few selected breakfast items like dosa, poori, idli without any curry or chutney. No vegetables yet or no curry as well...he needs small size butes or would feel nauseous... doesn't like to get mix food with hands as well...and he is 12 kg so far..and height is normal range...how to overcome this...is there any specialized pediatrician in Bangalore who deals with picky eater

Hi, i gv my 2.11 years old daughter bandy 10 ml at night without food...she took food by 8.30 pm but gv medicine by 12.21 am around four hrs gap...will it cause any trouble or is it safe...one more query - giving her elitefer xt syrup 2.5 ml for past three to four months...doctor prescribed her to give three times in a week...starting gv like tat n then infrequently whenever I remember I give it to her at any time of day after two hrs of having her food...this infrequency trouble her or is it safe...do I need to give iron syrup if so do I need a gap ibtw therapy...NW a days she is eating pretty good... elitefer xt not available in my current location...can u suggest alternative with same ingredient in it...she weighs btw 11.300 to 11.800 kg...

My 3.5 year daughter having fever 25 days ago and now again since from 2 days .Dr suggest widal that is negative and prescribed cefexime 100 syrup along with crocin but still the fever comes in every 9 hrs (101 degree). Another dr suggested to add one more antibiotic that is azithromycin.should I start both cefexime and azithromycin syrup or continue with cefexime.or some other safer antibiotic. Please help me.

My son was effected with dengue fever one month ago and admitted in hospital for 4 days.  Can he eat non veg now.? Is there any problempi? Now he is normal.

All of a sudden in evening my baby who is 22months started having vomitings with an interval of 20mins. Why did it happen ? We didn't go out yesterday and she has little but home made food since morning..!! Ondem also doesn't make her vomit stop... This happened twice in this year ? What is the reason ? My son has running rose ,fever and cough since Thursday evening. We met doc on Friday and he gave p120 , levolin and augmentin duo. His fever broke yesterday morning and there is no temperature since morning. However he has slight cough only. Today morning the temperature was in the range of 98.7 to 99 . My doubt is should I take blood test as fever has lapsed in again

My daughter 1 year, 7.5 kg, had chest Congestion on 10 October, doctor gave her Levolin Budecort and asthakind Taxim O ( Some relief), then after 8 days she got fever ranging 100-103, fever gone in 5 days with Calpol Meftal Augmentin, but chest congestion is still there, she cried last night as she had Pain either in chest or stomach. Now doctor suggested. Chest X ray, CBC ESR, Vit D . Are all these tests needed?

Hi my baby is 52 days old, his feet is moist when I pull the socks , if I don't put the socks it will remain very cold, online I. After six months of age when food and water is started to a baby . So at this age is it compulsory to give formula milk to a baby . if mother milk is not enough or if mother has no milk ?

Doctor, my son is 1.7 yrs old and from the last 3 days he is having fever and cough. Fever is around 100-101 and cough and congestion is severe.. Ongoing medication is Calpol-120 6ml twice daily, Azithral 100 (1time), cough syrup Kedex Junior (twice daily). Fever is fluctuating and at night cough get serious. Kindly advise what else can be done and if the provided medicines are sufficient and dosages are right. Thank you.
