Chest & Breathing Problems

My father aged 76 has COPD for last 7 yrs. Only few days back with secondary infection he suffered from respiratory failure type 2. He is on 0.5 O2 maintaing o2 at 94. Today abc report shows pco2 - 40 po2 66. He has thyroid and no other medical problems. What is his life expectancy after this respiratory failure episode? Can you give me a clear picture whether he has 6 months or 1 yr or 5 yrs of his life.

Hello! Doctors I've slightly elevated TSH which is 4.96 My T3 and T4 is normal Do I need to take medicine for this ?

My wife is suffering from Bronchitis as per the x-ray and other diagnosis. I would like to know things to keep in mind related to her diet, surrounding etc. I have noticed that her even after taking medication, she starts coughing in the night only which makes her sleepless and tired. I think the cold weather at night aggravates her illness. Please help.

I have dry cough but it's not constant . I did chest x-ray it's normal. Even did phelgm test it's negative both times. I have vitamin D deficiency I'm taking medication for that. For cough Im taking amrutarishta twice a day. Drinking warm water even doing homemade remedies like ginger honey tulsi kadha. It's helping but not completely. Now after phelgm test came negative they telling me to go for CBNAAT test  please can anyone explain me what is this test for tuberculosis and is it compulsory to do and what will be it's outcome? I'm really scared and constant thinking about this test. Please help

My concern is that in last 2 months my child get fever 3-4 times actually I am explaining in detail here first he got fever in first week of March which subside by medicine zifi 100 and paracetamol the fever subside in 5 days then again in 1 April he got fever which again subside by medicine above in 3-4 days and after that yesterday also he had fever at morning but after giving para cetamol now he is completely fine he is very active playing watching TV and all not crying everything is normal but I concern about that fever which repeat in last 2 months I looked at net that it is a symptom of blood cancer so sir please advise  everything in detail the child is completely active the fever first happened in march completely down after paracetamol again in April fever  there for 3-4 days but fine after zifi 100 and paracetamol but yesterday also he having fever but after giving medicine he is fine and one sister com to play with him have common cold from 4 days but my doubt blood cancer

MRI says Subchondral cystic changes on right side of sternum. I have pain on right side of sternum which is relieved upon lying on back.Starts paining as soon as start my day with activities even while walking .

I had dry cough and irritation from last 4 years generally its a seasonal allergy but this year its not going ( dry cough and feel something pinch at throat ) then cough continuously for 2 min to clear then stopped for some time ( no breathlessness) I already tried antibiotics anti allergic antacids and so many but not proper relief

Since 26 days from fever and fatigue, dry cough it's diabetic pt also from 20 years its no others complications

Every morning when i wake up i feel that my nose is blocked and i start sneezing as and when my eyes open. Sometimes it happens during the day as well. It has been there for almost an year now.

Dr please analyse the blue spotted areas. Does this look cancerous? I m a bit tensed about these marks.
