Breathlessness
Dear Sir,
Our brothers wife has breathlessness for very frequently for last 3_4 years. Chest pains, opening full mouth to suck air & then patient becomes fainted. She becomes Bow like shape while breathlessness & takes long long breath...we had done Xray chest scan & ECG but all reports were normal.
What further tests could be done so that we can catch the disease perfectly.
Kindly please suggest.

Fibrosis and lung cancer
My 67 yr mother who was a former smoker in her teens but quit a long long time ago had severe Covid pneumonia in 2020 December and recovered.. After that her ct scan said scattered ground glass opacities in upper rt lung.. No treatment given.. A dry cough remained all year later.. No issues..
After 1 year and 2 months another ct scan says "There is a soft tissue attenuating mass around 3 cm noted in apical segment of rul. There is surrounding interlobular septal thickening with ground glass opacities and bronchieactic changes"..
Pet scan said Metabolic active and Biopsy said small cell carcinoma.. treatment started..
My only question is did post covid fibrosis (ground glass opacities) cause this small cell carcinoma as the lung mass was found surrounded by ground glass opacities in ct scan.. Please Please answer 🙏
