Chest & Breathing Problems

Hi, I have observed that sometimes I take pause in breathing. I inhale then exhale and take pause. After exhaling i am taking pause. Is it normal? Thanks

Hello doctors, last night I got severe shortness of breath and then I take my rescue inhaler ( LEVOLIN 50mcg) 2 puffs then after again I take 1 puff but i didn't gets relief then I took asthalin 4 tablet and then after 1 hour I got relief. My question is that why my rescue inhaler didn't work it has to be work quickly ? And if rescue inhaler didn't work then I need to know the name of respules which I can use in my nebulizer? Iam having cough since yesterday with phlegm and body pains.i have eaten ghee sweets since then I got cough.

Male patient, Age 69 (with unstoppable coughing, even after antibiotics). Diagnosed with ILD in HRCT, and mild restricted pattern in PFT. Given Nintedanib 100 mg BD (with steroids) for 3 months, relieved from frequent cough, but continuous steroids was not good. Moved to other doctor, he gave only nintedanib 100 mg BD, cough syrup next 2-3 months. But, cough was still there. For better result, moved to other doc, gave Pirfenidone 267 mg BD, with steroid sparing agents (Serommune/Azathioprine 50 mg)-4-5 months. Condition improved, very less cough, patient is stable, no other complications, blood reports normal, but PFT still showed mild restricted pattern. Now, Doctor increased dose of pirfenidone to 801 mg BD with Serommune and Azathioprine 50 mg-20 days...still going on. Patient is fine, very less cough. I request your opinions, if this medication fine or Prifenidone overdose ? This will be fine or may have issues in long term ? Appreciate your suggestions on important points to focus

Hi, I have a scar in mediastinal lymph node, clearly visible on my chest X-Ray. I have no history of TB and am completely healthy. Can any doctor please suggest if this XRAY would get approved for Dubai visa ? Dubai official reject visa for any chest X-ray suggestive of old or active pulmonary tuberculosis. Sir I am 33 year old. I am non drinker and non smoker. Most of the time my nose is blocked or running due to cold. Continue sneezing is normal in my day today life. Small cough is also happens every time. Sometimes I feel problem in wind pipe. Small sound or obstruction feel in wind pipe during lying. Please suggest any good treatment or process of treatment.

I have difficulty in breathing . I feel the congestion in my chest all day long . Its difficult even to yawn . When I lie down to sleep I feel choked and unable to sleep . Kindly help me with the solution . I had consulted a pulmonologist and he mentioned it might be due to allergy . I have been taking the medicines prescribed by him ,but it is no use. I don't see any improvement.

I feel suffocation and tingling sensation in hand and feet often since 1 month .My pft test is normal .can I take inhaler for this.

On the midnight of 9th August I drank half liter of Amul milk chilled direct from the fridge after 20 min i felt like something was in my throat and I was not getting enough air next day I visited the local pharmacy and the gave me a tablet and cough syrup after taking I slept and I felt good but in the morning after 2-3 hours waking up i felt the cough once again and I am taking those medicines now also please help
