Chest & Breathing Problems

Is Pulmonary kochs same as tuberculosis in lungs ? If not does it require similar treatment as of tuberculosis ? is it contagious ?

Hello doctors, From past couple of days, I've this constant feeling of breathing more air. I feel relived when I yawn as there is more oxygen going in. I checked my accident saturation and it's 98. I do NOT feel dizzy or lightheaded. I just have some pricking pain in chest, which doctor told was gastric. ECG was done 3 times to rule out heart disease and that came normal. I do NOT smoke or drink and I'm 25 years old. But I'm overweight. I get enough sleep at night. Can obesity cause these issues? I also had a chest X-ray and blood work 4 months back and it was all normal. Please suggest something. Its not that im breathing vigorously, but I'm not satisfied with normal breathing

My father 48 years old he suddenly wake up at night feeling difficulty in breathing and he sit..he feel pain in joints too He also take kharrate I am an 2nd yr MBBS student

CT-Scan of my mother done at my home town reads "CECT CHEST REVEALS PATCHY AIR SPACE ACINARISATION WITH FEW TINY NODULAR RADIO OPACITIES AND PROMONENT BRONCHO-VASCULAR MARKINGS. MULTIPLE WELL DEFINED CONTRAST ENHANCHING SOFT TISSUE DENSITY LESIONS IN RIGHT PARA TRACHEAL PRE/SUB CARNIAL REGION; POSSIBLITY OF UNDERLYING INFECTIVE ETIOLOGY(TUBERCULAR) " her doctor has diagnosed it as tuberculosis. She has prescribed Rizorine kit for her and says treatment might continue for couple of months. What is puzzling me is that doctor says that it is not contagious. I wonder is this diagnosis correct ?

I am having dry cough for a long time nothing comes out while coughing. Went to hospital and tested. Doctors gave few tablets and took x-ray also. After continuing the tablet also its not stopped. What might be the reason. One doc said I don't have TB. Chest is clear. What might be the problem. I am 26. I don't smoke and very rarely I drink alcohol so little.

She had problem in breathing when she walk or sleep or feel very lazy We checked from doctery thy said to us she had small patchy as well as conglomerate areas of interstitial thickening and ground glass opacities in bllateral lungs as descried above-suggestive of interstitial pneumonitism

Iam suffering from cough & mucus 10 days before but now cough is gone but mucus comes out through the throat. Iam not sure about this. Is this TB? Please tell me.

Pericardial Fluid was gettting collected over the heart. Doctors said that it may be for TB. How can we know for sure? He took the TB medication for an year, what are the chances that the problem can occur again?

My Son aged 1.5 years, having tuberculosis in his left foot. Last September 2015, he had swelling & red color.So we took x-ray, the swelling was found in the x-ray but there was no fracture. Doctor suggested to take MRI & found that there is PUS collection & it is not affecting the bone. Then he had a minor surgery on the left foot to drain out. we went to biopsy for the collected pus. After 2 months, again swelling was seen & we took ultrasound-scan & seen that some kind of fluid is collected. Doc said tat we need to proceed for one more surgery to take place.Again surgery,the collected pus sent for biopsy & doctor informed that we are going in correct direction.first 3 months, we are giving treatment with the following medicine macox zh kid(before food),combutol 200 mg(a.f) & solonex dt 100 mg(1/2 tab after food). next 3 month, (we are in the 5th month medication & course will complete on April 20,2016), we are giving him Macox ZH hid & Combutol.again red mark seen in leg.

I get chest congestion very easily whenever i come in the exposure of dust. It happens again and again. What is the reason for that.What should i do for permanent solution.
