Hello..i had severe cough and evening fever one month ago for 7 days.I consulted physician(md).after examining my xray he said its tb.i consulted another physician.he also said its tb.i started taking medicines of tb.i consulted a pulmonologist in fortis jaipur.he prescribed mountox test, sputam test for 3 days
gene xpert,ct scan. All were negative..i dont know about ct scan.he said take some antibiotics if x ray doesnt improve we ll do lungs scopy.my cough was gone at this time after taking tb medicines for 7 days or may be due to antibiotics.but i decided to consult another pulmonologist.i consulted a DM.he again did my x ray and it was clear.he said it is not tb as in tb lungs do not clear in 7 days and prescribes lincotus dx.cough was gone..after few days coughing starts again with grey mucus but not that much.i did a x ray again there was little haziness not much.now i am afraid do i have tb or not?cough is still there but not much like before.what should i do?

Shortness of breath, extreme random pain
For a couple years now I’ve had shortness of breath and purple nail beds. Randomly out of nowhere I’ll get extreme EXTREME pain in my chest. Mostly happens on my right side directly under my rib cage which knocks the breath out of me and I can’t take in air. It passes in 30 seconds. Sometimes it happens on my upper left side. I always have shortness of breath. All my scans are clear and doctors don’t seem to believe me. My WBC count is always slightly high but no one bats an eyes

How can you differentiate between asthma and COPD.
What are the complications associated with a COPD patient undergoing surgery?

Complications_asthma patient_surgery
Hi,
My mother,65 years old, is a chronic asthma patient.
She has a lump near her ear which upon checking found to be a benign pleomorphic adenoma.
The doctor suggested it's better to remove it surgically as it has been there for more than 15 years. (Superficial Paratodictomy)
The problem is the surgery should be performed under general anaesthesia.
We know that for asthmatic patiets GA is really an issue.
Now we are to scared to either undergo a surgery or just keep it like that.
Kindly suggest how we should proceed and what precautions we shoukd take.
If possible suggest us a good general surgeon in Visakhapatnam.
Thanks
