My daughter has asthma and is currently deeply congested. Her nose, her airways. She's just struggling to breath at times. I used some of the over the counter medicine, but it doesn't seem to help much for her. I was thinking about putting her on Mucinx. Don't understand scan=shotty looking

I had pneumonia the end of Feb this year and the hospital did a ct scan on my lungs. When my Dr. got the results he said there was something shotty looking in my lungs and wanted another scan done in 3 mos which I had done this past Mon. The new scan showed the same with no change. What the heck is shotty????
