Cancer Care and Treatment

Hello Doctor! My Father-in-law had a throat infection 3/4 months back which turned serious now. He started feeling a lump in his throat and his ENT suggested us to consult an Oncologist for a check up. We just consulted an experienced Oncologist and did some tests as per his advice. But, we are shocked to see the reports. It's confirming malignancy fro m an unknown source and stating " poorly differentiated malignancy". My FIL is 80 years old and so, we are very worried. Kindly advise.

I had done one HRCT of my chest hence I wamted to.kmow that is it causes cancer in future i am worry about it olz tell me

I have small swelling (bruise-like swelling) on the sole of my foot (ankle region). Does that mean I have synovial sarcoma cancer? I feel like the swelling is becoming more intensified. If I am supposed to do a check up then who do I visit?

Does one HRCT of chest increas the risk of cancer??? Should any one worry about that one hrct?? Plz tell me

Dear Dr. My uncle has tumour on tongue for 5 years, doctors diagnosed Cancer, Chemo Therapies / Radio therapy was performed but did not get well. He felt alot of pain in tongue. i am very worry about his health. MRI was performed yesterday, i am sharing report, anyone pl suggest me what is best way to treat please. Regards

Dear Dr, My uncle is suffering tongue cancer from last 5 years. Treatment gave no efficient result. Doctors seemed hopeless, we are worry about his health , he feels alot pain. His recent MRI report is attached please give advise and guide for treatment.

1) Fibrotic opacity in right mid zone & small calcified foci seen in basal segment of left lung 2)S/P/O cerbral neoplasstic lesion - metastasis. Chronic infact in B/l Peri ventricular region, RT Frontal LOB Right Temporal lobe and left thalamus

How many radiation cycles are advised if entire throat tumour is removed? Is 21 sufficient?Or as per doctor is saying 30

What will happen if someone misses a dose of imatinib? Should he take the next asap or take it in due time?
