My father is having a ulcer on tongue for 1 year. He does not eat tobacco, neither smoke nor drink alcohol. Doctor has advised for the surgery. Is it cancer? And if it is cancer, is it good to go for the surgery? The blood test reports are normal.

My doctor has done chemo and operation of throat cancer.He said then entire cancer is removed but still suggested to go for radiotherapy for 100% surety.I am confused if entire cancer is removed then y go for radiotherapy.I was diagnosed with advanced stage of throat cancer.

Cancer surgeon is already operating this week for mouth cancer in which his left jaw bone and some parts of tongue will be removed. My enquiry is if in future can plastic surgery be done so that he recovers eating troubles and looks ? If yes then please recommend us some. P.S.- MILITARY HOSPITAL WILL ALSO DO SINCE PATIENT IS A ARMY PERSONNEL DEPENDENT.
