Dear Doctor, My father is 65 years old . He has complained of mild stomach pain from 4 days , fever and weaknesses. He went to doctor,he prescribed medicines then after paid has subsided. Father weaknesses is improving but fever comes and goes. Request you to have a look on enclosed report and suggest, is this the Cancer or which disease. How I should proceed for further treatment. I had a 3 cm mass on my right lung.. We are going for Needle biopsy from Saroj Gupta Cancer Research Center in Kolkata, West Bengal.. Is going for a biopsy in a Cancer Center safe? Will they write no cancer in my result if I really don't have cancer? Or will they write cancer anyways as they are themselves a cancer Research center.. My mother had breast removal due to tumor detected in her left breast and she had PET scan before the treatment to check if the infection has spread throughtout the body but no such thing was found and her body is completely fine and all the blood reports were perfectly fine, doctor suggested biospy of the sample post surgery and after 10 days of the report he suggested for the ER/PR report which almost tested on a 15 days old sample,the report resulted in 'Negative' and he has suggested 8 chemos. My question is can we take some other tests to find out whether the 8 chemos are actually required or is there any alternative option to treat the cancer.
