Do we need to go for spinal tap test if the result of contrast spine and brain MRI is clear to detect MS?

I became unconscious while standing near my bed. Awaken after 10 min in hospital. Happened for first time in my life. Had felt giddiness many a times but was not unconscious any time. Saliva came out of mouth. My right hand fingers got twisted for few minutes. Kindly aware me if it is life threatening. Or it can go away with medicine. MRI and EEG is normal.
