Hi, my neurologist suggested me to switch from Gabapentin NT to Gabapentin AT variant for my Diabetic Neuropathy issues. I forgot to ask the question if there should be any break of 1-2 days from previous Gabapentin NT before I start new medicine Gabapentin AT. Can i switch straight from NT to AT variant the very next day i stop the NT variant?

Suffering from cluster headache since 1985. The frequency of severe headaches has increased with duration of 2 hrs and 4 times a day. She was taken to AIMS Delhi, Shree satya sai Hospital Bangalore, CMCH Vellore and many other neurologist. Presently she is taking Tab Zeptol CR 200 ( 1-1-1) and Tab nortryptaline(at bed time) and Tab Ciplar L 20 mg ( 1-1). Apart from these medicines she is also taking anti hypertensive /anti diabetic medicines. Please advise on the neurology part.

My EMG and NCV was done today everything was fine but in my thigh EMG showed spikes in resting now iam scared i might have ALS as i was also having Twitching for a long time just wondering what else can be the cause of this?

My grandfather had a stroke few days back due to which he lost his vision in right eye. He is 86 years old and now his situation is serious. Doctor told us that there is no point in admitting him to hospital now. From yesterday he is not even able to eat anything not even in liquid. Everyone is hopeless. Is there anything we can do so that he is not dehydrated or starving? Someone said that if we give glucose via arteries, then he might suffer paralytic attack. Is it true? If so, please provide some alternatives ASAP. He is also a diabetic Patient.

3d ct scan of facial bones is saying hairline fracture is noticed on right frontal so please suggest me how serious is this crack & does it is life threatening? Will it causes any problems in future? What precautions we need to follow?

Dear Sir/Madam, I was diagnosed with the depression and advised to take anti-depressant. But I feel myself to be diagnosed the root cause. There may be many problem may be ADHD, or any other learning disabilities. It may be or may not be. Extremely difficult to understand and comprehend others. Can't work anywhere. Life is severely affected. Working for even few minutes make my mind extremely tired and I then can roam for 45 minutes to one hour. Many have advised to look for neurologist along with the psychiatrist too. I shall be highly grateful and thankful for one who can really help me as friend more than a patient. I got prescribed below tablets for high cholesterol and new onset of seizures 1)STATOR 10 (night) 2)ECOSPRIN 75( afternoon) 3)LEVIPIL 500 (morning and night) But after taking LEVIPIL , iam getting severe lower back pain . Appointment to doctor available after 7 days . Till that I want to replace LEVIPIL with eption 100( 3 times day). Eption 100 I have used previously. Is any problem with combination of eption 100 tablets and ecosprin 75 tablets in the afternoon .
