Brain and Spine Problems

I had pain in my thigh so the neurosurgeon after seeing my MRI reports of LS Spine, is recommending to plan for L3 L4 discectomy and L4 L5 Discectomy and stabilization. I'm attaching the MRI reports here, please let me know if surgery is necessary or can go for other non surgical treatment. Thank you.

I got my lower right third molar tooth extracted around 1.5 month back and the dentist had injured mandibular nerve ( probably IAN) due to which i have lost complete sensation in my right half lower lip, chin, teeth and gums. I always feel burning sensation and pain in this area. I have also taken steroids for almost 15 days but had to stop them in between as i got detected with dengue. Now i am worried when and how would i get the sensation back. What is the possible treatment of this nerve injury? Is there any exercise that might help?

I am on the following antieplileptics since 5 years now: Levipil 1000mg - twice a day Eslizen 400mg - once a day My last visit to doctor was in 2020 January, and since then I couldn't visit the doctor due to Covid and living in a different city. During all the previous visits, my EEG's have been completely normal. Also my MRI is also absolutely normal. My questions are: Till how long will I have to take these medicines. Are there any harmful side effects of taking these two medicines for a long term? Also, due to side effects of the medicines, the skin of my upper back is covered with heat boils and rashes. Are there any alternative drugs that I can shift to? If so how is the procedure?
