Seizures with no problem identified

I am consulting doctors for my 3.5-month-old male baby and would like an additional opinion. He developed seizures at around 45 days after a brief cough/cold illness. Currently, seizures are mostly controlled with medication, though occasional episodes occur, especially with weight gain, and are managed with dose adjustments. MRI brain and neuroimaging are normal. Blood tests are normal. EEG shows abnormal left parietal-temporal spike and wave discharges, suggestive of focal onset seizures. Genetic testing (WES) did not show a definite pathogenic mutation, but a variant of uncertain significance in the PIGA gene was found. Developmentally, he smiles, has brief eye contact, watches objects like ceiling fans more, and does not yet have good head control. Kindly advise on cause, prognosis, and further management and anything to worry about the PIGA gene (any issues with development). Thank you.

Left Common Carotid Artery Bulb IMT

My scan shows a 1.3 mm thickness increase IMT in my left carotid bulb, does this significantly increase my stroke risk, and is such thickening reversible? I’ve been prescribed Rozavel EZ (Rosuvastatin + Ezetimibe)—is this the correct medication for this condition, and what lifestyle changes should I prioritize? Please advise on the best way to manage this.

Severe nerve pulling, waddling gait, and

Hello Doctor, My mother (Age 47, Weight 74 kg) has been suffering from severe knee and leg pain for 8 months. Recently, her condition has worsened. She has to stand for long hours at our shop, and at night, she experiences severe nerve pulling/spasms in her legs. Her walking balance has completely changed (she walks with a waddling, penguin-like gait). Her recent blood reports show: Vitamin B12: 221 pg/ml (Low) Homocysteine: 22.30 µmol/L (High) TSH: 7.89 µIU/mL (High) Past Treatment: An Ortho diagnosed mild Knee OA. A Pain specialist prescribed Pregabid CR 75 and Etoshine MR, but no relief. Currently, an MD Physician started her on Tab Thyrox 50 mcg and Tab Becosules Z. My questions: Is her abnormal waddling gait and night-time nerve pulling due to Lumbar Spine nerve compression + B12 Neuropathy, rather than just Knee OA? Should we get an MRI of the LS Spine and Knee joint? Which specialist should we primarily consult now
