Bone & Muscle problems

Today I hurt my knee in soccer. I went in for a tackle sideways and twisted my knee and it felt like a bunch of my bones cracking. It was painful at first but then went away. I can walk on it with a limp and I can balance on it. It isn't swollen very much. It mainly hurts when it sits still. One of our coaches are a nurse and she checked it out and said it felt stable also. Can you give me an idea of what could be wrong?

I got an immovable bent left little finger. The doctor said that the nerve responsible to make that finger straight is damaged and he told that the condition is called "mallet finger" which, cannot be rectified. He also told that micro surgery could be done but, it can't be guaranteed. Is there any way to successfully treat it.

I have been having shooting pain at right side of neck and the pain radiates to chest and right hand , ( tightness in right hip). swimming helps. This pain happens when i smoke ciggirates. And also there is posture problem at shoulder and collarbone of right side

Hi I have spondyltis from the past 5 years and i have muscle pains in my shoulders and has been causing numbness sometimes. Of late, there are no muscle pains as i exercise the muscles but the numbness seems to be increasing and it disturbs my sleep. The numbness comes up to my right cheek .I get numbness when i drive my car in my right hand and whn i sleep i get in my left.

Having Saviour knee and back pain since last 10 years with arthritics and gas problem. Unable to walk or bend.

I have pain up and down area near elbow in right hand. MRI report suggests slip disc in C6:C7. Pain started about 25 days back. I do not have Any pain in spine or back but till now dictors find the problem related to spine.

I have been having major pain in my wrist. The pain will last a few weeks then get better then after a few weeks get worse again. I can barely bend it and turn it at all. I type all day so I don't know if I'm perusing it and that's all. The pain is so bad I feel like something more could be wrong. Just leveling it out hurts. There's never really swelling or bruising. It hurts from the knuckles to about a quarter up my forearm. The most pain is on the actual wrist. Hurts to touch and to rest. I've tried ice and heat and nothing ever helps the pain until it goes away for a few weeks. I don't know if it is just a sprain and should not worry about it or if I need to go see an orthopaedic doctor and get xrays or scans. Any idea?

My father got these symptoms in MRI. This actually happened while playing cricket. Its been 2 months now and had bed rest until now. His age is 51. - Partial ACL tear with buckling of PCL - Small undisplaced subchondral tibial plateau fracture in the lateral condyle posteriorly. - Partial tear of LCL with marked surrounding soft tissue edema. - Mild knee joint effusion - Early osteoarthritic changes. -

I have pain and swelling in my right hand since 1 year or may be more. It's only right hand. It's in arms and wrist.

I have got fracture in my right thumb and the foc asked to operate. He suggested to go for either reduction and fixation or extension block pinning
