Can you please suggest alternative options for Surgery to osteoarthritis? Surgery is suggested to my mother.

Since last 5 months my left hand is numb starting from little finger, then ring finger and now thumb as well. I have visited Dr. Gurpreet singh in DMC got my test done. Do you suggest physiotherapy can be of any help to my problem.
