Bone & Muscle problems

My thumb of left hand is swelled up without any reason and is painful too. What to do? At first bending the thumb a little tough, but now it cannot lift any weight too.

I hav bulged discs in cervical and lumbar regions. I m close to 10kgs overweight. My pain becomes severe whenever i use the gym or do walking. Pls suggest what excercises I should do to reduce weight. Dieting is impossible for me.

Last month i met with an accident my right leg upper tibia got fractured doctor suggested me to wear rehabilitation belt and advised not to put weight on right leg till 3 weeks. Now it's been 3 weeks so can put weight on my right leg. There is little swelling and pain.

His MRI report says- 1.Partial Collapse of D6 & D7 vertebrae 2.Irregularity in lower endplate of D6 and upper endplate of D7\vertebrae 3.D6-7 discitis He has intolerable pain. Does this pain obvious and if yes then how much time will take to lower down pain level and if no please suggest what to do?
