Hi My thumb is paining since morning and I have absolutely no Idea, why it has started. I didn't hit my thumb anywhere. I have a very slight sensation when it's at rest but the top of thimb pains when I press anything or hold anything.

I had met with an accident in july 2017. A bike hit me from behind while i was walking. There was serious damage to the right foot. I had undergone 2 surgeries one at the time of accident and then after 4 months for the removal of screws. I was in complete bed rest for 4 months. Even now i am feeling a stiffness on the toe. When i consulted my doctor he is saying that this stiffness is good. He is saying there are chances of arthritis. When i asked whether to consult a physio he said no. There is change in my walking style because of this stiffness and people are noticing it. Need an opinion on this situation Thank you
