Tooth and Mouth Problems

I have a completely decayed tooth for more than 15 years now... However it never bothered me until now. It us paining a lot. I am wondering what kind of tooth extraction will be done as the back side of the tooth is completely gone and completely became levelled with the gum. Will a gum portion be need?

Sensitivity in tooth, and gums seem inflamed (red) and occasional bleeding while brushing. There also seems to be some white residue on the gums sometimes. There is discoloration, however that I've had since as long as I can remember so that is not a new symptom.

I have gone through a root canal procedure for a molar in my lower jaw. It's been a month post the treatment complete with crown. I seem to feel that the  tooth is a bit more sensitive than the other normal ones. It almost a feeling when you have  a little lose tooth. However, when I feel it, the tooth and the crown is all intact. Please advise.
