Tooth and Mouth Problems

I heard if we put braces on teeth..then we have to visit the dentist on monthly basis...for tightening the braces...but i come from shipping profession..iam a sailor...and i go for continous 4-5 months of sailing..so for me it is not possible to visit dentist on regular basis...so is there any other option..pls advice?

Dr. while eating chocolate or any sweet items my back right side of Jaw is paining and after drinking water it become normal. Around 2-3 weeks this problem is there. Please suggest me some precautions or treatment for this problem. Thank you.

One of my tooth (canine) is about to fall. When consulted doctor, he said it is extra tooth and can't fit in a new tooth in that place. Instead he suggested me to go for tooth bracers for 8 months to fill that gap. Kindly let me know what treatment should i under go.
