Actually their is sever pain in my tooth and also I consult to dentist but I don't won't to do root canal is their any other option

I’ve had a severe toothache from last few days, my dentist is treating the the tooth and has advised ketorol-dt whenever the pain gets out if control. I was experiencing pain and I had a Sumo instead of ketorol dt since I did’nt have access to it at the time. The pain has’nt reduced in the last 1 hour. Can I have Ketorol-Dt also within this short interval, I have access to it now. Is it is safe to consume ketorol dt along with sumo?
