Tooth and Mouth Problems
Impacted molar surgery!
I underwent my third molar which was impacted surgically removed! It was a tough procedure as the tooth was deep embedded and close to nerve! Iam at day 5 post operative procedure and though I don't have swelling or issues with mouth opening, but i have extreme pain and soreness throughout the day!
Iam taking painkillers but it only fades for sometime!
My question is: how long does it usually take for the pain and soreness to go when you have stiches in your mouth and you've got a surgical extraction done?
What are the red flags?

Impacted tooth surgical question!
Hello everyone!
So i just got my stiches removed today!
Had a surgical wisdom molar extraction a week ago! The doc says its all good, its healing well, no dry socket, and everything looks nice! BUT , i still have pain !
I have to take like 2 painkillers a day- idk if this is normal? They say it takes a week to heal right? Iam at day 8 today! Why do I still have to take a pain killer and why is the area still painful and a bit sore? I also see a small hole at the extraction site but the doc says it will fill up on its own and its not a dry socket! I had an impacted tooth removed and it was surgical !
Any inputs on when will i feel completely normal??

The tip of my tongue is red and scratchy
Hello doctors, I do not remember having bitten my tongue or drinking anything hot, however, I can see that the tip of my tongue is red, having small bumps and is a bit scratchy. This is kind of making my eating foods a bit problematic. Furthermore, whenever I close my mouth, I can feel the tip of my tongue being bumpy and rough along with a little burning sensation right there when it touches the roof of my mouth or my inner gums. I am scared that this redness can turn into cancer. Can someone please help me out with this?!
Note: Attaching the pictures here for a better reference.
P.S - Thank you doctor for taking the time out to help me out with this. It means a lot to me.

Broken bracket problem
Hi, I live in Indore, and my orthodontic treatment is ongoing. One of the brackets (I have metal braces installed) from my upper tooth (the pointed tooth) got broken. My orthodontist is not changing it; instead, he said, "Come to the clinic, and I will remove the bracket." Is this common in orthodontic treatment? Like, how can someone remove the bracket in between treatments?
Dr. Rahul has 5 years of experience. I am afraid he is doing the right thing with my teeth.
