Tooth and Mouth Problems

How can I know the internal conditions of my jaw joint i.e. tmj disk, ligaments, capsules, band etc? Can I know externally by observing symptoms that my jaw joint is not damaged and I can treat my tmj disorder with tmj splint?

My brother not properly opening the complete mouth. He chew Gutka from last 1 year. He has asthema also. Pls suggest a medicine for helping to open his mouth and his voice is not too clear as previously . He tries many times to avoid but helpless

Can you please suggest me a remedy for my toothache and swollen inner gum for 7-8 days? I cannot visit a professional doctor before 4th of January. I'll get it examined after 4th.

Hi, I get tooth ache randomly on left side. It stays for 15 min to 30 min and goes away. I'm not sure where exactly is the pain. Usually after eating something. I have also seen blood coming out of the last tooth in the lower left. Pain and bleeding don't occur simultaneously. I've observed when I've pain there is no blood and when it's bleeding I usually don't have pain.

The swollen gums started when I by mistake bit my gum while eating. It's been 2 weeks the gums swollen has not come down. Sometimes it reduces and then it increases. The swollen gums is near my jaw near to the last teeth. Could please help me out because I smoke and I am a Lil scared about it. And the swollen gum is kind of black in color, a Liltle greyish. He has been suffering from mouth ulcers continuously for past two months. One ulcer goes and then another appears. They are painful and look red and pus-filled Open sores. I want to know which kind of doctor specialises in such treatment .

I am being treated for tmj disorder. I have also some problems in my neck and back because I listen some crunching type sounds when I try to expand my chest or strech my neck and back. My dentist told me that I should not go for physiotherapy or something like this when I am going through their treatment (splint and ortho treatment). But i can do yoga or some safe exercise for my neck and back. Can you please suggest  some safe exercise for me to do at home?

Got a deep tooth-bite in the inner part of the lower lips. It bleeded for a few seconds. Got a mild burning sensation now and it is a bit swollen. What do i do now

I am going through the treatment for tmj disorder and I have an overbite problem. When I massage i.e. circular motion on my jaw muscles below my ear i feel pain from my jaw area. Is massaging harmful for me? And how do know whether my treatment for tmj disorder (splint therapy and orthodontic treatment) is working for me or not?
