Gum pain and swollen cheek
I have gum pain on both sides and my right side cheek is swollen and sometimes my jaw also pains. Dentist says gum inflammation and i should check with ENT for sinus. what makes my cheek to swollen on one side is it gum problem or any other serious issues.?

Hello ! Gum pain is a very broad and non specific symptom, but if there is swelling in the cheek and pain in the jaw it could be due to a variety of the reasons. Some of the more common ones are :- 1. Tooth decay leading to a dental abscess 2. Impacted Wisdom tooth leading to swelling over the gum covering the tooth , a condition called pericorinitis. 3. Poor oral hygiene- chronic gingival inflammation

Most of the time dental infection .... looks like sinusitis!!!!! very rare.... sinusitis causes gum swelling!!!!

Hi....... Visit a dentist for a Clinical examination. It can be an impacted Wisdom tooth which must be causing pain.

Guns may be inflamed due to calculus present on your teeth. Get the scaling and polishing done and take the maintenance therapy as suggested by the dentist sinus may also affect and cause pain in jaw but if you have cold then it may be a possibility otherwise no
