Gum paint procedure
Hii,
Could you please tell me how to use gum paint. For how many minutes we have to keep that on gums after brushing the teeth?? And i hope it does not make the teeth become yellowish?? Thanks :)

if gum paint is recommended by ur dentist then you can use it twice daily.and keep it for 10 mins after application.no need to rinse.
if its not recomended by dentist then just do gum massage with your finger twice daily for healthy n strong gums

Gum Paints are not highly recommended take-home medications these day...... they tend to provide astringent action for the spongy gums, without treating the underlying cause...... please avoid self use of these agents..... if you have problem like spongy or bleeding gums, it is better to get a session of tooth cleaning followed by guidance about proper brushing technique for best gum health..... Regards.....

Hello did your dentist recommend to use gum paint or you personally want to use it. Usually 2-3 times for 10 min daily is recommended after you massage on your gums spit it out. For long duration usage it tends to dull your teeth.

Hi, for what purpose r u using the gum paint..?? Did your dentist suggested it..?? Do u have spongy or bleeding gums ...?? Before using gum paint make sure u under a professional oral prophylaxis and scaling for better out come..using gum paint for longer duration tend to darken ur shade of teeth ..you should abstain from eating or drinking for half an hour after application ...It can be applied twice daily ..after you quit gum paint you can opt for massaging the gums with finger tip after brushing

Gum paint is to be applied and left for about 15 minutes. The extra spittle which you get may be spat out . After the said 15 mins. spit out all the paint and do not rinse with water or eat/drink anything for the next 30 minutes .
Gum paints containing Chlorhexidine will stain teeth on prolonged usage .
Rather than using gum paint - visit your dentist and get to the rooth of the problem you are facing.
