Stomach Problems & Remedies

I have been having this weird problem of waking up in the middle of the night generally within 1st hour of sleep, where I wake up suddenly short of breath. It feels like someone stopped my breath. And there is lit of palpitation at that time and hardly able to see properly anything. I have consulted both the chest doctors and gastrointestinal doctors. The chest x ray and lung functions tests and ecg are all normal. But I have gastro reflux (gerd) problem which was acute at one time, but under check now. Medication which has been helping is nexpro-40. I Doctors say it's nothing to worry about. But the thing is it is very scary when it happens almost every night. And sometimes during day too. And it's been over an year now. What should I do?

I'm getting dark reddish-black motion from past one week. Been under constant medication like roko / lupermide, with no success. Having about 10-15 bowl moments a day. I'm taking coconut water, electral powder in water n light meal besides medication.

Hello, I am having Extra Skin around Anus which is discomforting everyday such as Itching and often Blood loss . The problem i am facing from past 4 months i consulting the doctor 4 times, initially he said FISSURE for that i took the prescribed medicine(Cremagel , Megaderm and Antibiotics) , Burning Sensation Stopped but itching is not solved, in Second and third consultation also i was facing more itching and swelling (wetting with pus, Blood loss) after having Antibiotics situation got controlled but Itching and swelling is there. in the 4 th consultation i had "colonoscopy" for any infection in colon Everything is normal. But Doctor said small size of internal piles is there for that no operation required . Again 5 days antibiotics i took , itching is there and Swelling around anus with red and white spots . I am having a Hygienic food still i don't have idea about infection , can i have a help on this itching is irritating my daily work. i can add the Medical report tomorrow.

Gas in stomach leads to stomach ache acidity bloating and head ache. It starts with loose motion and then stomach ache then acidity and then bloating of stomach and head ache

Hi All, I am looking for the good hospital where I can take my mother for piles. She has been facing this problem from long time. But we couldn't go to good hospital due to financial issue. Please suggest good doctors/hospitals only. I have CMC, Vellore in my mind. If there are good treatment available in Bangalore then it would be nice as I am living here. Thanks

Hi, My mother has 40 years old gastric problem. Now it is increasing day by day and she experience stomach pain every evening. Some doctor mentioned about Area Gas which i dbt understand. Dont know which doctor to consult

My wife has been suffering from GERD for the last many years . She also suffers from asthma. Endoscopy was done 5 years back and treatment with PPI's started. The acidity problem occurs regularly and is now under control with PPI's. Recently as symptoms got worse another endoscopy was done and hiatal hernia confirmed Gastroenterologist has recommended Nissen's Fundoplication using Laparoscopy . Now we have heard that there are many side effects for this surgery such as dysphagia, inability to belch/vomit etc and the same is not full proof . Surgeon is an expert and has done many such surgeries. But we are worried . Please advise ?

He is having gastric issues since 2 months.. Previously had frequent acid reflux, which has reduced a bit now. When he takes medicine, he will be fine.. But once the course is done, it starts again. Please suggest any permanent solution

Hi Recently I had a problem with my stomach, I follow normal food plan on rouitne basis but suddenly I started to go loose motion and my stomach is paining like anything and drastically my weight got reduced to 63 KG from 68 KG

I have been suffering from acidity problem from quite a long time, if i eat Peanuts, or chips, or even for that matter chutney, the acidity increases and burning sensation in stomach starts followed by head ache and after some time after i puke, then only will feel a bit better, because of this my eating has been restricted to very few things.
