Went to hospital they said light piles and they suggested me to sugery is it necessary? age 27, single

Since about July I've noticed an odd lump or mass feeling in my stomach. Sometimes it feels like it's balling up on the left side sometimes I feel a heartbeat sensation and I can literally push on one side of my stomach and I can feel the mass move over to the other side. I have been having a lot of heartburn. Any idea what this could be? I'm also having a hard one losing weight but Im also not active in dance anymore. Ive just turned 35
