Does almonds have to be soaked before eating? Why I am taking them daily without soaking My friend suggested me to soak them as it is better

I had knee and low back pain a while back and used aleve and advil to treat it. The pain went away but now my stomach is raw and painful. My appetite and bowel movements are normal. What can I take for this?

My husband said he's feeling uneasy in his stomach and later during lunch he went to vomit and later he got loose motion . He vomited again after dinner . He's not been able to eat anything . And it seems like he's got fever too.
