Why is d dimer plasma test done? What happens when it is 1.41mg/L, my mother got typhoid and jaundice and she is taking medicines for that, in today's tests she got d dimer plasma as 1.41mg/l,what happens when d dimer is high and does she need to admit in a hospital for this or can she get treated as an out patient?

Its been uneasiness in the stomach from several days.  But earlier this was not problematic. Now from last three days its been more severe. I studied on net and found that it's constipation. The present Problems are:- i) It takes long time for excretion. Nearly half an hour or more and it is from years. ii) From 3-4 days after excretion in morning stomach doesn't feels empty. It feels as stool will come but it doesn't comes out. iii) After that stomach feels bulky. Little-little pain in stomach/intestine area. When gas is released then pain is reduced. This is continued for whole day. iv) Yesterday in evening I tried to excrete but excretion could not happened even after applying pressure. v) Then, consulted with medical store and took some medicine. It gave relief from pain and even gas formation also reduces and next morning excretion was 80% relieved but after 2-3 hours the problem started building and still feels like excretion but pressure is not building and bulkiness in stomach.

Sufferd from typhoid disease in last month. No fever from last 15 days. Now there is  problem to digest. Tightnes in upper stomach while laying on bed. Sometime Color of urine dark yellow and discomfort or burning with urination. While pressure of urine feeling burning. Feeling tiredness and sweating. SGOT and SGPT level is high from last 2 months. I attached the blood test reports. Please suggest me.

I suffer from Gerd I want to know that Can we take any food and pills normally after nissen fundoplication surgery for gerd

I lost 10 kgs since lockdown started. Before lockdown, I was in my college where I walked 8-10 Kms/day and ate more than 2200cals/day, and my weight reduced by only 1kg/mo. Since the lockdown started, I barely did any physical activity, and was sedantry for over 3 mo, and was extremely stressed due to preparation for some exams. I had gastric issues since April 9 and I had IBS and a coming-and-going acid reflux issue for more than 3 mo (4 May - 7 Aug), due to which I was also eating less than usual (1500-1900 cals per day or less) for more than 4 months. Took ppi for 10 weeks. Started Rifagut on Aug 7 and then my IBS got better.  Between 26 March and 7th August (4mo) I had lost 9.5 kgs (97.5 to 88 kg). Since I started taking IBS meds, I started eating normally, my bowel movements became normal and I lost only 0.6kgs in more than a month. Was the weight loss due to IBS or some other reason that I need to be concerned about?

My grandmother is eighty years old. For the past seven or eight months, she has been defecating within minutes of eating.Being not abble to hold any food in her stomach. She has become very weak due to lack of protein in her body. Please give me a way. What can I do now.

Vomiting last night ,not taken morning breakfast ,in lunch tuar. Ki dal ,kitchdi eaten ,in night lauki ki sabji then suddenly started vomiting

I am having stomach pain from past 2-3 days, My stomach bloats when ever i eat something. Now its bloated mostly evry time. I feel pinch kind of pain on stomach.

When I woke-up  in the morning than suddenly started belching, cramping with Gas in my stomach and bowel, lot of sound from my bowel with gas and at the time of passing the stool than I have to first passing gas and then passing stool with loud sound and whole day I have to go many times for washroom and cramping my large intestine at left side. I have tried to fit my life style and meals than also I did not get any relief. It was uncomfortable for me I have this problem since 2015. And there is no pain exept blotting. What it can be ?

I am having gas,mild diarrhea..I got the whole abdomen ultrasound done for it..But i dont see any information regarding intestines in the report..So the whole abdomen includes both intestines or we have a separate ultrasound for it
