My dad having slight constipation since last 3 months it relives whenever he takes laxative and pump inhibitor but comes when he leaves them it started after he had Oestoarthritis in right knee

Hi I have observed from past 10 -15 days my mom has daily Gas problem. She burp a lot throughout the day. Also farts sometime but more than usual. We gave her Gelusil but condition is same . Can you please help.
