Is okey to take at night after having food or have to take it on day? I'm really confused can anyone help?

I got bit by some insect on my hand while driving yesterday, I could not see what insect it was . It felt like the area I got bit was burning or got struck by fire . The area of bite got deep red and the area around it swell. I have used Ice , soap and water in the past 14 hours . This morning I woke up , it was still swollen, red and is paining. Please do help.
