Skin, Hair and Nail Problems

Hello Doctor, Good Evening, I'm 26 years old. I've been using tretinoin 0.025% for more than a year now and it has worked like magic for my skin. I use it every night and follow up with sunscreen the next morning. My skin during the initial months and sometimes in between used to get dry or I would get a tretinoin burn around my lip area. However now my skin has adapted really well to tret. I actually wanted to start with an AHA, BHA PHA exfoliator. I wanted to understand if it is safe so use acids along with tretinoin. I consulted my dermatologist and she suggested I use the acids twice a week and the rest of the days use my tretinoin. Just wanted to have a second opinion on this. Thanks!!
