Hello doctor,My son has got these black patches at the same place of both the hands, earlier it was on one hand for last few months and now it is on the other hand as well.please advise what are these, there is no other problem.thank you in advance.

I am sharing an image of a mole on my mother's back. She has been having this mole on her back for the past 8-9 years. It has increased in size over a period of such years. There is itching and when rubbed the skin of it ruptures and bleed and then a bruise develops over it which starts itching when it gets healed. I have applied betadine liquid to this area and covered it with tape. Kindly see the images. Is this a normal mole or is there some malignancy involved? Kindly answer.

I have been diagnosed with lichen planus pigmentosus last year. I have not undergone any treatment for the same. The lesions are present on my thighs bilaterally, shoulder and few on my legs. No new lesion has developed from a year. Simultaneously i have been facing lost hair loss for the past 5 years and have undergone consultation for the same. Initially started with minoxidil, but i have stopped using it and now majority of my hair is lost. Doctor has recommended hair transplant. Can I undergo hair transplant treatment without any adverse effects since I previously was diagnosed with lichen planus pigmentosus.

Hi, It's been almost 7-8 days i am seeing some sort of darkness on knuckles of left hand and redness on the knuckles of my right hand. It increases a lot when my hand is dry and cold. I don't know how but one day it just looked like my knuckles have been burnt. I applied moisturizer, coconut oil. It didn't work much so I shifted to maxrich deep Transcellular moisturization. All this I have done as self diagnosis. Is it something to worry for? Should I see a dermatologist ASAP?
