I'm 22 year old male suffering from androgenic alopecia.My dermatologist has recommended me to take finasteride 1mg /day.but I recently came to know that it has some side effects on google.so I'm here to take second opinion. Is it ok to take finasteride?

Hello, I've been having hairfall and dandruff problem since some time. The hairfall is kinda bad. It wasn't this bad earlier. When I was in hostel and used the water there it increased. But now I'm at home and still it's worse than that. I lose more than 200 hairs a day. Also most of the hairs fall with the root. Also there is dandruff problem. It's always itching and the scalp smells bad. I can also see dandruff in eyebrows too. Could someone please help? Thankyou

From Last August facing severe hairfall. Also had lot of dandruff, In November got prescribed Follihair and Vitamin D (which was 6.5) and KZ Lotion for Dandruff. Dandruff vanished by March but hairfall still continued. Then got prescribed Keraglo, Antioxid and Hairgro Serum. I definitely see some growth of tiny hairs in the temple area but Hairfall is still there. What should I do, should I start on Minoxidil ?

I have extremely sensitive skin which is more on the dryer side but recently I've been having some acne issues which I am guessing occurred due to imbalance in my hormones as I had stopped taking my pcos medication due to some personal issues, I've started taking the medicine but I've got a really important event in 20 days for which I really want my face to look cleaner as I am afraid that these pimples might go but would leave marks which take really long to go and there are right on the focul features of my face so I really want something that could atleast make them lighter

I have been suffering from severe hairfall from past 4-5 years. Whenever I part my hair I see visible scalp. I've tried different medications both homeopathic ( low light therapy) and allopathic ( minoxidil ). But haven't seen any results. I was diagnosed with PCOS and high prolactin levels for which I was given cabergoline. High levels were brought under control. I've also changed my lifestyle completely. Have been taking chia, flax and pumpkin seeds. And foods high in protein. Still there are no visible results. Hairfall is only worsening.
