During covid because of mask i had severe acne problem and my skin is very sensitive. Doctor suggested me tretinoin cream... can it be used for life long???? If i quit to use it i got acne problems

Hello Doctors! I am suffering from severe Macular Amyloidosis, where the pigmentation is all over my arms, back, legs and hips. The pigmentation is dark, deep and stubborn (photos attached). I have consulted many dermatologists before, and have taken several topical treatments consisting of kojic acid, tranexamic acid, glycolic acid, lactic acid, hydroquinone, retinoid, alpha arbutin, niacinamide and licorice extract, but the pigmentation has not faded and hasn't become any lighter. A few dermatologists have suggested that chemical peals and lasers are the only solution. Can you please advise if topical treatments can help me or should I go for chemical peels? Are chemical peels safe in the long run?

Do vitamin b12 supplements cause acne. If yes then how to take it if you're deficient and at the same time not get acne?

I was prescribed tretinoin 0.04% by my dermatologist. I wanted to know how to use it for 1-2 pimples that pop up just before periods. Can it be used for spot treating. And also how to use it to prevent these pimples from coming again on whole face. Ps- dont have acne prone skin, just one or two pimples before periods. Have regular periods with no other issue as such(no pcos)
