Dear Doctor, I’m writing about my 9-month-old son, who has had a cough for the past 3 weeks. He coughs a few times during the day, but it seems more frequent at night and early in the morning. The cough sounds wet/productive. He took Ascoril LS Junior syrup 10 days as prescribed by our doctor. There were periods of slight improvement, but the cough has continued and still comes and goes. He does not have a fever or any other symptoms. His feeding, sleep, and activity levels are normal. Could you please advise on the next steps or whether he should be examined again?

My husband had a viral fever 1.5 months ago which included fever, cold, cough this lasted for a week and back to normal but the wet cough didn't go even after using a Expectorants for over two weeks , later he got a rtpcr(negative) check up and X-ray done which says normal. The Dr thoroughly checked and said the airways and chest are very clear and diagnosed as mild bronchitis and gave Relent, Rem CC and BIOCOF BR Syrup for a week it reduced slightly and again the cough is back This Cough mainly starts during the evening or if the weather is cold. Hardly there is any cough during the sleep and it's mild cough Which is ON & OFF in the evenings , Please suggest what can be done to totally clear the cough

Hi, My 3.9 yrs old son is suffering with fever and wheezing with wet cough since 4 to 5 weeks. Fever is coming periodically every 5 to 7 days for 1 day only. Initially we tried some medication and nebulization for every 6 hrs but it is not cured. My doctor suggested to nebulize him with levolin(every 4 hrs ) and budecort + duolin (every 12 hrs).We are doing this since last 2 weeks. still no change same wet cough and wheezing. Today doctor told to do the same thing for another 5 days along with some cough related syrups. We did CBP,CRP and ESR tests for him multiple times in this period. WBC count and ESR are frequently going up and down,Is this ok? Is it ok to nebulize him this much? Please suggest.

Hi Sir/mam. I am working as a customer support specialist in night shift where I commute 40kms up and down. Since 2-3 weeks I am continuously coughing dry and wet for every 5-10mins.Unable to figure what exactly is the problem tried cough tablet and benedryl syrup still not cure.Genrally it's lasts for few days whenever I have cold.Can you please suggest me what's the reason cure or any appointment needed.
