I am suffering from cough for last 2-3 weeks.I have taken a cough syrup,but not that much helpfull,what should I do.

My son 3 years old. He had viral fever one month before. Since then he was suffering from cough. We taught it viral will go away but no. It's mostly occur whenever he awake from sleep. He continuously cough . It look like wet cough but not really. And when coughing start it's not stopping too easily. So extent of breathless cough at morning after getting up. He has been suffered many times from cold cough viral fever. But this time long.. Which syrup needs to give for such cough. I am currently giving sinarest but no relief . So which cough syrup to take pls help

Respectful doctors, Really appreciate your contribution at this pandemic time. My son 2.5 year old is suffering from severe cough for last two days. Before that he had fever for 3 days, but now fever is normal. But continuously coughing without able to sleep. Wet cough he is not able to spit it out. Kindly suggest something. We are giving cough syrup Codistar DX 3ml twice a day and using puff Levolin for easy breathing.

My mom is coughing frequently ( once in every hour approx ) since last 7 days, cough lasts for about 20 secs to1 minute every time. It sounds like a wet cough, she spits out phlegm everytime there is a cough. She takes adequate fluids with ginger/ lemon etc daily. She is not willing to consult the doctor as problem is not that big. Please advice if any medication is needed for this. Any syrup or tonic would help to cure this soon? Thanks in advance

Cough from last 10 days and not improving. While coughing, cough comes out. It is wet cough. I have taken erythromycin for 5 days but still there is no improvement.
