Home remedies include staying hydrated with warm liquids like tea, soup, or broth, using a humidifier to relieve congestion, gargling with salt water, inhaling steam from a bowl of hot water, and consuming soothing foods like honey, ginger, and chicken soup.

Your persistent cough for the past 2-3 weeks, despite taking medications like Benadryl, suggests an underlying cause that needs proper evaluation. Possible reasons include: 1. Allergic Cough: Exposure to dust, pollution during travel, or allergens at work. 2. Postnasal Drip: Mucus dripping from the back of your nose to the throat, causing irritation. 3. Acid Reflux (GERD): Acid from the stomach can irritate the throat, triggering a cough. 4. Respiratory Infection: A lingering infection from a previous cold. 5. Bronchitis or Asthma: If you experience chest tightness or difficulty breathing. Suggested Remedies: Stay hydrated with warm fluids. Use a humidifier to keep the air moist. Try antacid medication if acidity is a concern. Avoid cold drinks, smoking, and dust exposure. Salt water gargles and steam inhalation may help. Since your symptoms are persistent, I highly recommend a detailed consultation to determine the exact cause and start the right treatment.
