Asking for my sister She is having cough problem.her age is 28 years.it has been seven to eight years,consulted several doctors but in vain.whom should we consult.is there any specialised doctors for cough problem.p lease guide.

Hello:) Last year in the month of September I got infected by some virus ( doctor told) through air, which lead me to get wheezing while sleeping at the night. I went to doctor and after completion of 1 course of medicines somehow I PARTIALLY got cured. But, again after some days of my usual activities I got the problem back and again I went to same doctor and he asked to take few tests, in which I got everything good ( normal) and asked me to continue the medicines (only syrup this time). Finally after drinking whole bottle of syrup(100ml) for around 1 month I completely got cured. And now when I jog in the morning I feel breathlessness and after sometime will become normal. (I go to gym, I don't do cardio) After all these explanations, My question is... I feel itching INSIDE the chest, back, around shoulder regions when I COUGH. And whether if it is casual cough (dry cough) or because of Tempering (oggarane) I feel the same. And sometimes even if I sneeze!! ???

I have had a tickling dry cough for more than 2 months. There is almost no sputum or only negligible mucus. Initially my doctor prescribed Clavam 625 (1-1-1 for 5 days) and Ambroxol syrup 30 mg, 5 ml (1-1-1 for 5 days), but the cough did not improve much.  Later I was prescribed Levocetirizine 5 mg (once at night for 10 days). I also took Phensedyl DX cough syrup on my own. After this, the cough improved by about 80%.  However, occasionally the cough still occurs, especially when I run or sometimes after eating tiffin. Ioften feel as if mucus is stuck in my throat and there is a heavy sensation in the throat. If I cough repeatedly, the cough increases, but if I suppress it, it gradually settles down. Overall, the cough frequency is very low now, but when I take a deep breath, I feel a tickling sensation in my throat. After completing Levocetirizine 5 mg, my cough has slightly increased. Earlier I was about 80% recovered, but now it feels around 70% recovery. Please advise.

Hello sir What is the reasons for dry cough pls confirm since 2 months my sister only dry cough no chest congestion She is a pregnant of 5th month running what to do gynecology doctor not suggesting any tablet She used some time benadryl syrup as well but no use we r worrying why dry cough happiness any particular reasons sir pls confirm Generally in pregnancy Dry cough will be attack for some patients or not pls give clarity any and further steps which doctor have to visit and guide possibilities any .. By coughing her throat was burning even sometime she was doing vomit as well by coughing .

Dear Doctor, I have cough from more then three months but I have not any disease like TB or Asthma because I am coughing in only for a few hours (in a certain time of a day 1-2 hours only), I don't cough so badly -it just like my throat is asking for just one coughing. My cough is dry. I took proper medicines from my local doctors and I drink Corex-Dx and 3 more cough syrups and took Asthma medicines. During sex with my girlfriend I licked her vagina and the ass and i had cold that time. so it is because of the unusual sex techniques or it is an infection caused by licking the vagina and ass. Sir please recommend me some medicines from that my problem got heal..Please sir

My son 3.5 years pls Due to frequent cough and cold our pediatrician suggested to blood test like ige where it shows value 86.6 , when doctor seen the report he suggested to use bryolite syrup daily till 7 years especially in the infection season like July to December, is it safe to continue the medicine and now there is very mild cough still after 10 days  we have given antibiotics complete for 5 days and we are using hiss over syrup 3.5 for mild cough , is it fine use syrups for kids

My father is suffering from fever for the past few days. Each time I give him a paracetamol his temperature reduces for 3-4 hrs after that again his body temperature rises to 100-102. Also he is shivering very much during fever. He is also having wet cough and not feeling like eating anything. Yesterday I took him to a physician in a hospital and she wrote some tests( CBC,chest x-ray, swine flu test, sputum test). All the reports are normal,only his TLC was 15000. He is taking medicines given by the doctor but still it is not showing any results. Should i get his typhoid and Malaria tests done?(he is not having stomach pain or body pain neither he is having loose motions). Please help

Cough and common cold started from 12 Nov.Due to exams initially ignored.Then increased at much fast pace. From 17 nov had cefixime tablets alongwith levocetrizine and paracetamol and cough syrup .After taking tablets twice a day fever reduced and temperature went to 98F.After that day again continuous 100 + fever is coming.Using cefixime 200 with 650 mg paracetamol twice.Fever reduces to 99.5-99.6 for 1 hour .After that it again increases to 100-101.Intense coughing  despite using dextrometrophan for  hydrobromide ,chlorpheramine, phenylephrine tablet tusQ-DT from last 2 days .And before that using same composition syrup

My 3 year old son has regular cough and wheezing sound in evening and night time.sometimes it increases and sometimes it decreases.but it does not happen or is negligible during daytime. It also doesn't affect his sleep as such. I have consulted paediatrician 2-3 times then they prescribe some cough syrup for allergy and it goes away but it returns after discontinuation of syrup. Though my son is very lively and active .this cough doesn't reduce his liveliness and activeness. But is it early early symptom of asthma or bronchitis ? As my wife has bronchitis problem. What type of specialist should I consult for permanent solution?

I have been suffering from chronic dry coughing for the past 3 weeks. I had occasional mild fevers in between. Visited local doctor who prescribed some syrup and OTC medications which didn't work. Went to a MD doctor who advised xray. The xray report said inhomogeneous opacity seen in the right paracardiac region. Have been put on antibiotics and syrups and constantly given nabiliser which doesn't seem to help much. The coughing continues and worsens very often. Have done my sputum test results of which are awaited. What could be the reason for such a chronic coughing condition and any suggested diagnosis?
