Hi Sir/Mam, I am 8 months pregnant, my LMP is 13th November 2021. I had throat pain earlier but with calpol 650 and hot water intake it's all gone. I don't have any throat pain now but I have cough. The cough(khasi) is troubling me a lot. Can you please suggest any cough syrup which is safe in pregnancy. Can I take Honitus? If yes what are its dosage?

Can honey and ginger water be given at night to 5yr old boy to soothe the coughing and irritation of throat? he is suffering from cough and cold with mucous and slight fever of around 100deg or less... Occasional vomiting with mucous (2-3times a day) He has it since day before yesterday. 18.5kg weight Also kindly suggest a cough syrup/medicine with dosage.

Hello Doctor I am a covod tested positive patient , after 6th I started getting cough. So I started to use core syrup for two times a day , that didn't stop . Yesterday started to used ascoril + & montair lc tablet. When I cough I am getting blood in my flum. mild amount of blood mixed with flum. Can it because of too much of coughing or any other. I am having extreme dry coughing since last 2-3 days. I had throat infection prior which got cured after having azee 500 and consulting ent. Now ,I have bad dry coughing, and its soo extreme that i am unable to sleep properly. Please Suggest how to treat this. Hello, my 2.2 year old daughter has cough since 3 days. She is troubled while lying down at night, not much coughing during daytime, also heard her wheezing a couple of times. Though she didn't have fever but her body feels warm to touch. We tried giving Steam and Nebulization and cough syrup. Cannot visit doc due to lockdown. My son is 11 months old and his last checked weight is 8.5kg. last Christmas 26 dec 2023 his cold started, and severe cough, I was at my in laws house, a very close relative who's  also a post graduate doctor suggested to give b cure syrup, that's dextromethorphan hydrobromide phenylephrine hydrochloride and chlorpheniramine maleate syrup. I was asked to give 2.5 ml.. it's been more than 15 days. his cough is still continuing, I decided to stop giving the syrup, now at this he vomits his formula milk twice due to cough. My son has a regular pediatrician, I'm just scared to text her now about his condition, I gave medicine without talking to her. What should I do. He had a running nose, but not now. It's just the cough that's bothering him. Please. Advice what should I do. I'm a first time mother, I have no idea how to handle. Please doctors suggest the next step.
