My five years old daughter is suffering from cough since mid December.. Consulted two drs.. first dr said mild wheezing and prescribed antibiotics and cough/cold syrup.. after completion of course also she was not well.. On and off she used to get cough.. Especially at night sometime after sleep.. She will cough heavily for few mins and get up from sleep.. Again while getting up in the morning she used to cough.. Last week we consulted another dr he said wheeze is there and suggested Nebuliser for three days and medicine.. Followed everything.. After checkup dr said wheeze reduce.. That time she didn't have cough.. It's been three days since we stopped medicine again cough started.. Day time she was fine.. While sleeping alone.. Cough she feels like vomiting.. what is the reason for recurrent cough.. Also she gets cough if she plays heavily.. But then it subsides in few mins.. please guide drs

My son frequently gets the dry ,cropping cough, and continously coughs . he has undergone the bronchiscopy 1.6 years back when he was 2.5 years old. he chewed a oats crunchy and coughed for 1month frequently antibiotics alsonothelped. With doctors suggestion we underwent bronchio scopy procedure. to find if some foreingn material would have gone into his lungs. Fortunately there was nothing in his lungs as per Manipal hospitals specialist dr pulmonologist after the bronchiscopy procedure. He frequently gets the dry cough and cropping cough. and coughs continously. Every time he gets this dry cough we approach the doctors they say his upper airway got infection and his chest is very clear. After Nubulization with adrenaline and budecort , syrup Allegra, & Omnicortil forte for 5 days the cough calms down. But otherwise the way he coughs sounds very dangerous and continuous coughing which is worrying us a lot. So we are thinking to try out homeopathy medicines if it can solve this issue.

My son is having continuous cough it gets better after medication but returns back after few days this is getting repeated since august 2016 till date...medicine he takes include A sthalon Syrup, Omnacortil, nebulizer with budasal, attached Syrup....can it be cured permanently....what is the treatment for it.

My 4 years old son having throat infection nd cold nd cough frequently nd high grade fever for that my doctor priscribed ibugesic plus syrup,b folcin syrup,zyrcold syrup nd moxikind cv forte syrup.so this medicine ok or should I change?

My newborn baby age is 4 weeks his birth weight is 2.9 kgs current weight is 3.7 kgs height 49 com he is suffering from nose block different breathing ribs showing when breathing and tight tummy gassy from the past few days when I visit doctor suggested nebulizer and cold and cough syrup and antibiotics syrups after using nebulizer for every 6 hours from the past few days he is some how recovering but not completely also vomiting little every every feed from last 3 days so I went to senior pediatric doc he prescribed phena kid syrup, tummy soft drops, econorm sachets, zincovit and deksel syrups are these good for my newborn and also how to know if my breastmilk is sufficient or not for my baby.

Hi my baby is 2.7 years old.he was detected covid positive on 14 June since June 8th he was having fever running nose and phelgm .and on 22 fever reduced running nose reduced but cough continued few days .3 days back he was having swollen eyes with dirt coming out for 2 days later normal .since yesterday again he started to get cough and phelgm.He is actively playing at home but when we go out he isn't walking he is just asking to carry him.is there anything to worry about or else everything will be fine..already we used fever syrup for almost 13 to 15 days cough syrup 10 days nasal saline spray more than 15 days nebulizer 3 days .he doesn't have fever now cough and phelgm .

Hello doctor my baby is 11 month old ,on 16 sept he had runny nose and 100 fever but no cough  , doctor give him wikoryl and brozit syrup with antibiotics after two days he feel better but from 22 sept he had cough and runny nose then doctor give azee, Maxtra, ascoril, monter 3 kid syrup  and nebulizer but still there is cough and cold .he is active and playful.take feeding normally and pee normally.is there any serious health condition.please guide us .how many days cough last in babies.

I am 16 weeks pregnant n suffering from coughing from around a month. Initially had high fever (102) n severe throat infection, for which I took augmentin 625 twice a day for a week and zedex cough syrup alongwith paracetamol tablets. M taking steam regularly and drinking hot water since then. Also a spin honey along with a little pepper powder at night on daily basis. However a little pain in throat n frequent coughing still remains. Again visited ent and he has prescribed honeytus cough syrup. Is it safe during pregnancy?

The patient is suffering from wet cough and reoccurring fever from past 1 week. Consulted a doctor and has advised us to take Paracetamol with other antibiotics. No signs of recovery though.
