Frequent coughing during pregnancy
I am 16 weeks pregnant n suffering from coughing from around a month. Initially had high fever (102) n severe throat infection, for which I took augmentin 625 twice a day for a week and zedex cough syrup alongwith paracetamol tablets. M taking steam regularly and drinking hot water since then. Also a spin honey along with a little pepper powder at night on daily basis. However a little pain in throat n frequent coughing still remains. Again visited ent and he has prescribed honeytus cough syrup. Is it safe during pregnancy?

Yes the syrup is safe. But since you are having cough since a month, you must get tested for tuberculosis. Any cough lasting more than 2 weeks must be evaluated. You can visit a physician or chest specialist for that.
