Recently Answered Questions on wet cough syrup

Hello, My 18 month old baby appetite is very low, she doesn't eat more than 2 spoons per feed so the local pediatrician prescribed PRACTIN EN syrup to increase appetite.. however in Google it is mentioned that the syrup is not recommended for babies less than 2 years..can you please confirm if it's ok to give the syrup 1 ml twice a day??

My son 4 year old he is not sleeping properly because of tapeworm he feel a piece of the worm coming out through the anus. we gave Bandy 10ml suspension syrup a day before yesterday night but still he is having the pbm . But six months before we gave same syrup that time it's deworm within a day. Please suggest what needs to do for this how long it will take to get deworm after gave Bandy syrup? Also please suggest any home remedy?

Since last year.. i lost 12-15 kg of weight due to ayurvedic remedies like tumeric milk , hot water and other stuff , now currently my weight is 66kg and height 5'7" and age 29 , i feel like i lost my body fat ( thin skin something like slim body ) , please suggest some weight gain syrup or tablets so that I can be little fat again (😂😂) i have tried zencovit syrup , b-complex syrup but not much improvement observed ...

As he was having some infection, he was admitted in the  hospital and was given 9 doses of antibiotics as injection 12 th hourly and on discharge doctor advised to give him 3.5ml antibiotics syrup for 5 days 12th hourly. As per the prescription the last dose is on today morning. But there is not enough quantity of syrup in the bottle to give the last dose. What should I do? Should I skip the last dose? Or Should I give the remaining syrup? Or Should I buy a new bottle and give the accurate quantity? Please guide me. Thanking you.

Hi Doctor, My son (Vedant) is 1.5 yrs old and last 3 days after feeding or eating he vomits. I have given emyset syrup that was already advised by my doctor. But I thought it may be stomach worm, I haven't given any stomach worm syrup yet. He has low fever also. Could you please advice currently I'm giving opex CV syrup for fever. Can I also give him zental or bandy please advise.

I am currently on medication for UTI as norflox 400 mg morning and night and Tamgress 0.4 mg at night. Before this i was consulting my ayurvedic doctor and had combination of following medicines Norflox 200 mg Ampicilox 1000 mg Ural syrup Cital syrup And some other ayurvedic syrup From yesterday i am seeing some small dots/ daane on my forearms. My son has intermittent wheezing sound and shortness of breath. Sometimes it occurs too frequently. He sleeps well but keeps changing position. The doctor mentioned tachypnea on and off on prescription and prescribed Asthalin Syrup, Omnacortil Syrup and Azee Syrup along with Levolin 0.31 and Budate Nebulizer. It has been the 4th day since we have started the medicines. But still no relief. He is having the same issue.

My son is 3.5 years old.. My pediatrician asked me to do his serum iron, cbc, tsh level, rest due to his low weight and height. Current weight is 11.6. In the rest reports hemoglobin is 14.5. Serum iron is 93 and feritin is 36.7 and vitamin D is 55.8.. Doctor has given him orofer xt+ syrup for a month along with multivitamin syrup a to z. Pls let me know is it necessary to give orofer xt syrup for these level..

My son is 7 months old. He was born in chennai and there the pediatrician has given only vit d3 syrup and iron syrup till 1yr. After shifting to hyderabad, we consulted a local pediatrician where the doc prescribed bevon vitamin drops 0.5ml and calcimax 2.5ml , both syrups twice a day. Is calcimax required for 7 months old baby? Which doc should I follow.
