Please doctors I have twins a boy and a girl last week Monday they we're having cough dry cough coughing so badly that leads to vommitting so we rushed them to hospital they were given three days injections for malaria and thyphoid and given cough syrup too.but the girl got ill again after the injection doctor asked for chest x ray which was clear then full blood count shows upper respiratory infection he gave some medication now she is getting much better but cough is Stil there but no fever again , now the boy since yesterday fever even throughout the night I didn't sleep I kept cleaning him with warm water for fever to bit down he is breathing fast but not much, and whenever he wakes up he asks me for water only only water and I give little please doctors could this be same upper respiratory infection he is getting too just like his sister? Please what should I do am worried thanks in advance

Hi sir/mam My son 4yrs old,1st day he has fever,caugh.so I gave dolo syrup n dry cough syrup.no cold. After 2days wheezing also started at nightt. As per doctor suggestion given nebulization with diluted saline budecort and levolin 0.31 mg2.5ml 3times a day .cough suppressor as piriton-cs. After 4days,Now wheezing reduced,fever reduced,but cough become soo much severe and nose is runny like anything. He is crying a lot due to continuous cough.nose is watery,eyes also watering.refusing to eat anything. If he drink milk or water,cough is comming. Saying by coughing more some pain throught. Kindly suggest me do we need to change medicine.is this related to carona symptoms? Any antibiotics will work.? It seems side effect of Nebulization? Kindly suggest me.

I had chronic dry cough, I had dry cough with shortness of breath in April for relief I was using Cipla Aerocort Inhaler. After trying some cough syrup and turmeric milk at night, I started cinnamon powder with honey in warm water in morning in mid April. I noticed my dry cough is improving so I started taking raw garlic also. But my shortness of breath was still there. I added clove water, and many other hot natured spices. On April 29 I took kadha in the morning and evening & garlic milk in the night. From the next day dry cough vanished but I felt my throat is very dry and I had breathing difficulty too. From that day I am suffering from this problem. My inhaler doesn't help me in this. Is it a lung disease or throat problem. My chest X-ray is clear.

I have been coughing a lot last month, now it has reduced by 98%. But i had phlegm in throat and constant need to clear if not coughing. So i went to local pulmo doc, he gave pulmoclewr for a week, difiza or some inhaler fr a mnth, cefpodem xp, and cough syrup. My symptoms are 98% not there, just sometimes after exercise i get slight cough or phlegm.. I did a sputum culture and sputum afb, culture showed high growth of K. Pneumonia while afb was negative. I went to the doctor, he said continue with the medicine and also do the ct thorax and insisted on CB NaAT... I couldn't ask him but just for a clarity, does this xray show any sign of TB? I don't have fever, or cough like tb, or any night sweat. Just post nasal drip and some very little phlegm, once in a while(rarely). Please tell me why is he asking for cb naat, m scared :(

On Dec 29 I got fever and body pains which continued for 5 days...I went to nearby hospital and got injection and medication for 3 days and fever got cured..And my oxygen level was normal...But from last 15 days I'm having sore throat and getting cough frequently...I tried home medications like goggling with warm salt water and steaming but it doesn't work... Sometimes my cough is dry and sometimes with saliva...Even tried using benedryl dry cough syrup for 10 days but doesn't work...I don't have any fever or cold but only this cough and throat pain... sometimes I feel blood taste in my throat during cough...my body feels weak and I'm worried...I need to know the exact condition or issue which I'm facing to start any treatment or medications...kindly suggest urgently

Can anyone please let me know if this syrup can be given to 5 year old child. As this syrup has been given by an Eye doctor but in syrup no information is provided if it is for kids.

I was diagnosed with pneumonia in CT scan and was given medicines such as levocet,azithro,and a cough syrup..After taking it I felt no improvement much so my sputum examinations such as AFB and CBNAAT was done..In which AFB was negative and CBNAAT was negative yet thereafter there was a chest X ray done in which a small patch like thing was seen..So Dr.also gave me rifampicin isoniazid and ethambutol tab. For anti tb. ½ dose each. Which helped me to get rid of excessive coughing but still there's some cough in chest that I feel while breathing normally and I feel fatigue too. I also faced some other side effects like itchiness,joint pain and irregular menstrual cycle..So is anti tuberculosis medicine given and useful to cure pneumonia like bacterias also? I'm so confused about this thing..help me..

So i was facing cough for 2-3 weeks with phlegm and 2 times blood streaked phlegm. I had taken amoxyclav for 5 days. Still it didn't reduce so, Showed it to pulmonologist, he prescribed pulmoclear from a week, cefpodem x5 for 5 days and reswas syrup and difizma inhaler for a month. Also xray chest done attached. Now the amount of phlegm is less but in my lower throat area is tickling. I mean there's a sensation, not that bad to cause a cough but yes enough to give you a sensation that you should cough. Also a feeling of globus sensation sometimes. Why is it happening? Please help me. I am scared now.

Dear sir/ mam On Friday my daughter was suffering from cold and fever we went to dr. He said she is having tonsils on right side. They prescribed medicines that she was having fever temperature 101 & 102.8. I give her ibugesic. Her went down. Next day she woke up fine. But again she having fever her temperature is 100.2 I give her paravib syrup has prescribed dr. She is having cold and cough also i am not sure is this fever temperature is normal or not. Or do we have to go for test. Because dr. Said if she has fever or breathing problem or cold and coughing and we have to go for covid test. But she is only having little cold cough and fever temperature 100. Is this because of weather change or should I go for test. Please suggest.

From Sunday morning my mother's throat was swollen and very painful. She couldn't even drink water. The doctor prescribed amoxyclav 625 three times a day, along with acenext Sp three times a day only. From day 1 to today there is no improvement. Yesterday she was coughing all night and today the pain is more severe. She didn't ate any solids only liquids up till now. I'm very worried the medication doesn't seem to work. Today she took grilinctus cough syrup to sooth the coughing. But the throat inflammation and pain is just too severe.  I'm very worried Please  Help!! Dr.!!!
