Pneumonia and fever
I was diagnosed with pneumonia in CT scan and was given medicines such as levocet, azithro, and a cough syrup..After taking it I felt no improvement much so my sputum examinations such as AFB and CBNAAT was done..In which AFB was negative and CBNAAT was negative yet thereafter there was a chest X ray done in which a small patch like thing was seen..So Dr.also gave me rifampicin isoniazid and ethambutol tab. For anti tb. ½ dose each. Which helped me to get rid of excessive coughing but still there's some cough in chest that I feel while breathing normally and I feel fatigue too. I also faced some other side effects like itchiness, joint pain and irregular menstrual cycle..So is anti tuberculosis medicine given and useful to cure pneumonia like bacterias also? I'm so confused about this thing..help me..
