I have a problem of sudden outbreak of cough which in no time leads to huge congestion in chest. It lasts for 2-3 hours n then things become normal themselves. I just keep my mouth closed as otherwise cough starts. Lately I have observed may red spots coming up on my body...on abdomen n on areas between armpit n waist.

My 5years child is taking cough syrup for long time ..at first she took Alex ls for 5days dn ascoril ls now on hhlinctus ls for 5days..all of these meds were prescribed by doctor..cough syrup taking for such a long time for a five years old child...could this have any bad side effect? Should I stop giving cough syrup?

Instead of NT scan, we will do 5 months scan afterwards.] Is it safe to take this medicine above for cough only. On this power tablet without any serious symptoms. Or it is ok to extend TRIMISTER NT SCAN OR SONOGRAPHY to direct 3rd to 5th month.

From Monday onwards I was having slight cold n I took alegra 120 mg after which I get better but next day sore throat followed by dry cough, fever n body ache. Last night I had dolo-500 for fever n felt better, even cough is better but slight nasal congestion n body ache with slight cough is still there. But body ache , especially pain in feet, calves in nerves & back shoulders also. Please suggest if antibiotic medicines required or general OTC

My 3 yr old daughter gets fever, cold, cough, vomiting and sore throat...once evey 30-45 days (irrespective of the weather or season), and this has been happening since over a year. The fever generally lasts for 3 days. The cough takes about a week. The vomiting is especially difficult, even ejects the medicines along with whatever she eats. We've consulted multiple pediatricians. One diagnoses it as viral fever (every time) and prescribes the usual paracetamol, cough and vomiting medicines. Another one prescribed a urine test to check for infections, but that came out normal. He said that if the fever isn't going over 4 days, there's nothing to worry. We also tried homeopathy, and it seemed effective for 1-2 months, but this time, it doesn't seem to work.

I'm having chronic cough since 4 months and have had inhubator check and xray done and 2 pulmonologists referred to gastro. And due to this pandameic I haven't seen any gastro yet. But one gastro suggested me to have gavascon, rabeprazol for 6 weeks. My acidity is still on and I'm coughing I'm having something kind of a food particle at the back of my throat all the time. Even if I have water multiple times. Please suggest me what needs to be done I'm worried about this. I'm having cough more after 4 hours of having food and in the nights and in the early morning it's chronic.

I've been sick for a week and a half to two weeks. It started out with my throat being irritated. I noticed white patches in the back of my throat, my tonsils and uvula both were extremely red, irritated and swollen making it difficult to swallow. I developed an irritating cough that progressively got worse. I have shortness of breath, my chest feels tight, I gasp for breath when I start coughing repeatedly. I've been having cough & cold from a long time(5 years) , There is constant irritation in my nose which leads to continuous sneezing(Hundreds) & running nose. After sometime this leads to heavy head,dizziness and soar throat and coughing. I am unable to eat food due to cough and tight throat.I have taken all types of medicines(Allopathic,Homeopathic,Ayurvedic) from many doctors. Then problem has become intense to a greater degree and has reached a stage where it has become unbearable. Many doctors have said me that they cannot cure me and cannot prescribe any medicine further. The problem has reached an another level as told by many doctors. This disease has effected my daily routine and lifestyle so much that I am unable to do regular household works and uncomfortable all the time. Please help me with a treatment or doctor whom I should consult to get rid of this problem.

After doing cardio exercise i get bad cough and spit very dark mucus and sometimes very little blood (pinch of blood) as well. the blood comes only once. This continues for at least 15-20 mins after doing cardio. The coughs are very deep. More deep is the cough more black mucus comes out and sometimes i get very bad pinching pain in my chest (just middle of chest). This is happening from last 3 months. I smoke 4-5 ciggs a day from last 7 years. Recently i got medical chk up. My ECG and Chest Xray are normal. Please suggest ..HELP!!!
