  4. Counghing for long time. Cough syrup?

Counghing for long time...
My 5years child is taking cough syrup for long time ..at first she took Alex ls for 5days dn ascoril ls now on hhlinctus ls for 5days..all of these meds were prescribed by doctor..cough syrup taking for such a long time for a five years old child...could this have any bad side effect? Should I stop giving cough syrup?

Greetings if cough is not so severe occasionally 2-4 cough u can stop , kindly consult online before stopping
